Energy and Cost Efficient Resource Allocation for Blockchain-Enabled NFV

Network function virtualization (NFV) is a promising technology to make 5G networks flexible and agile. NFV decreases operators' OPEX CAPEX by decoupling the physical hardware from functions they perform. In NFV, users' service request can be viewed as chain (SFC) consisting of several virtual network (VNFs) which are connected through links. Resource allocation in done centralized authority called Orchestrator (NFVO). This suffers some drawbacks such single point failure security. Blockchain (BC) able address these problems decentralizing resource allocation. The NFVO architecture exceptional BC characteristics motivate us focus on SFCs without need for an based technology. To this end, we assume there two types users: users who send SFC requests (SFC requesting users) perform mining process (miner users). For users, formulate (NFV-RA) problem multi-objective minimize energy consumption utilized cost, simultaneously.
